The Numbers Game

So here's where you stand if you're thinking about opening a brewery today: you're entering a market that was already saturated before a pandemic, an energy crisis, a cost of living squeeze, and a cultural shift away from drinking. The breweries that survived all of that are leaner, more desperate, and more willing to cut prices than ever before. And they have established customers, established routes to market, and established reputations.

You don't.

That's the reality of the saturated market. It's not that there's no room for great beer — there is. It's that there's no room for another brewery trying to find its feet while everyone around it is fighting for survival.
