The Uncomfortable Reality
Health and safety isn't glamorous. It's not what you signed up for when you dreamed about brewing great beer. But a brewery is an industrial workplace, and it needs to be treated like one. The chemicals under your sink are more dangerous than anything in most factories. The dust from your grain mill is a genuine occupational health risk. The CO2 from your fermenters can kill.
If you're not prepared to take this seriously — to spend the money, do the paperwork, enforce the rules, and accept the responsibility — then you're not ready to run a brewery. Especially not one with employees.
